Palais Hotel- Semaphore
Address: Palais Hotel, 86 Esplanade, Semaphore SA 5019

This coming Saturday 10th September 2022  there will be a full moon in the mystical, astrological sign of Pisces

Full Moons are at the final stage of the moon cycle, and they are the best time to reflect upon the month, to look within, and to release counter-productive beliefs and patterns.   Full moons are also a good time to focus on forgiveness, healing, and gratitude, preparing to move into the next moon cycle with positivity.

Pisces is a water sign, so a beach walk is a great way to connect with the Pisces Full moon energy. Pisces full moons are characterised by dreams, and are a good time for healing and surrender.

On this walk, we'll clear energetic blocks through aura cleansing.  We'll also meditate using a singing bowl, and receive healing energy from the moonlight and the sound and energy of the ocean.

----ABOUT THE WALK----

This walk is designed to be contemplative and meditative.
We'll cleanse our auras before we begin, allowing the energy of sacred smoke to transform any stuck energy with its energy.

The walk itself will follow a southward direction along the Semaphore beach shoreline, and during the walk, we will be stopping to consciously release any outdated patterns or beliefs in a simple ritual. There will also be a moonlight and singing bowl meditation. At times I’ll encourage reduced conversation to allow more mindful engagement with the surrounding elements and land.

We'll use red light torches on these walks, which are much kinder to the eyes of any creatures we may encounter, and won’t interfere with night vision.
Please allow some extra time for the walk; we'll walk together as a group, so the expected finishing time is an estimation, and may differ slightly depending upon the varied ability of our group members.

---- WHERE TO MEET ----

Please meet at 6.00pm near the Western (Beachfront) entrance to the Palais Hotel. (*Not the Eastern entrance visible from the Esplanade).  If you are parking along the Esplanade, you will need to walk down the sloped pathway to reach the Western entrance.

---- WHERE TO PARK ----

There is a beachfront carpark a short distance from the Palais.  The entrance to the carpark is at the Esplanade/ Hall Street round about (take the exit towards the sea)

Roadside parking is also available along the Esplanade.   From the Esplanade, there are steps leading down towards the beach, or you can walk down the sloping driveway, and then follow the footpath towards the Western Palais entrance

---- WHAT TO BRING ----

  • Water
  • Wear supportive footwear suitable for walking (such as trainers or walking boots).  We'll be walking on the sand, so you may like to keep a spare pair of shoes in the car for the drive home.
  • Also wear clothing suitable for walking. The temperature can drop quickly when the sun sets, so warm clothing is recommended.
  • The walk will proceed regardless of wet conditions, so a weatherproof outer layer may be advisable.

*Group numbers will be limited to 8
